Lazare
Lazare develops and runs supportive shared accommodation where young working people and people who have been homeless live together.
Support Lazare
Since 2006, Lazare has been placing young professionals, often between the ages of 25 and 35, who want to give meaning to their daily lives, in shared accommodation with people in precarious situations or living on the streets, referred by local organisations that are partners of Lazare.
A Lazare house can accommodate up to 45 people: shared accommodation for men, women, rooms for young people leaving home, etc. But living together doesn't stop at the door of their homes: they organise meals open to all and stays in which former residents and friends of the house can participate!
Support is provided to help residents return to work: a life coach helps them define and implement their personal projects.
Key figures
Lazare currently has the capacity to accommodate 23 people, including young professionals and individuals who have experienced homelessness. Since 2018, 23,400 nights spent on the streets have been avoided thanks to them!
Where your money goes
With €35, you can offer social support to a housemate who has been through tough times, helping them to relaunch their personal and professional projects. With €100, you can treat them to a weekend away with their housemates. (as an example)
